POLEGATE – WD/2024/2552/MFA
Proposed development at Land North of Highgrove Crescent, Polegate. I give notice that Taylor Wimpey UK Ltd c/o Quod is applying to Wealden District Council for planning permission for the variation of conditions 3, 4 and 9 of WD/2023/2958/MRM (reserved matters (appearance, landscaping, layout and scale) pursuant to outline permission WD/2021/1637/MAO (outline application for residential development (use class C3) comprising up to 180 dwellings; informal and formal open space, footpaths, cycleways and internal roads; associated parking, landscaping, planting, noise attenuation measures, utilities, drainage infrastructure and groundworks. All matters are reserved with the exception of vehicular access into the site, to be taken from Highgrove Crescent) for the erection of 151 dwellings (including 53 affordable dwellings), noise attenuation measures, play areas and associated landscaping, parking, levels, drainage and ancillary works) to enable minor changes to the site layout and to several of the house types in order to accommodate the correct alignment of the rising main and easement zone. The development does not accord with the provisions of the development plan in force in the area in which the land to which the application relates is situated.
