TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highways (South West) (No. 28) Order 2024” authorising the stopping up of a southern part width of Bath Road at Peasedown St John, in the District of Bath and North East Somerset. This is to enable development as permitted by Bath & North East Somerset Council, under reference 23/04380/FUL.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/SW/ S247/5848). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Peasedown St John Post Office, 45 Bath Road, Peasedown St John, Bath, BA2 8DL.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 5 December 2024.
