What is planned?

Notice under Article 13 of the Town & Country Planning

(Development Management Procedure) Order 2015,

Section 67 & 73 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990, and Regulation 5 & 5A of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Regulations 1990.

North Yorkshire Council (Craven) has received the following applications that are required to be advertised under the above legislation for the reasons stated.

Application No: ZA24/26538/VAR

Proposal: Application to vary condition no 2 (Approved Plans) of planning approval referenced ZA23/25396/VAR for R N Wooler & Co Ltd

Location: Land West Of Cricket Club Shires Lane Embsay BD23 6RR

Reason: Is a Major Development proposal.

Application No: ZA24/26508/FUL

Proposal: Proposed change of use of former bank to a cafe/bar and restaurant including internal and external alteration including the installation of plant equipment for Loungers UK Limited

Location: Bank Barclays Bank Chambers 49-51 High Street Skipton BD23 1DT

Reasons: Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area. Affects the setting of a Listed Building.

Application No: ZA24/26509/LBC

Proposal: Listed building consent for the change of use of the former bank to a cafe/bar and restaurant with internal and external alterations including the installation of plant equipment for Loungers UK Limited

Location: Bank Barclays Bank Chambers 49-51 High Street Skipton BD23 1DT

Reason: Works to a Listed Building.

Application No: ZA24/26517/HH

Proposal: Replace an existing conservatory for Mr J Mansley

Location: Rowan Edge 2 Greenfoot Croft Commercial Street Settle BD24 9RE

Reason: Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

Application No: ZA24/26529/FUL

Proposal: Demolition of existing workshop building and construction of new detached dwelling with ancillary living accommodation for Arkitektural

Location: The Old Workshop Off Chapel Hill Skipton BD23 1NL

Reasons: Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area. Is a proposal for demolition of an unlisted building in a Conservation Area.

The applications are available to view and for comment online at publicaccess.cravendc.gov.uk/online-applications or electronically at 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ.

Representations can also be sent in writing to Development Management, 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ so as to arrive no later than 19th December 2024.

All comments received will be available for public inspection and will be viewable on the internet along with the application details. However, we will endeavour to prevent signatures, telephone numbers and email addresses from appearing on the comments published on the internet.
