NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONTINUATION OF CONSENT FOLLOWING CHANGE IN CONTROL OF PART OF THE LAND

An application will be made on Monday 9th of December 2024 by Esso Petroleum Company Limited under the above Act and Regulations for the consent to add a new Hydrogen Plant, a new Hydrofiner, an additional Residfiner reactor, a new hydrofiner reactor and increased diesel storage at the Esso Petroleum Refinery, Marsh Lane, Fawley, Southampton, SO45 1TX.

The Application is to be made to the New Forest District Council ("the Hazardous Substances Authority") of Appletree Court, Beaulieu Road, Lyndhurst SO43 7PA as the authority for the land in question under the above Act and Regulations.

The Hazardous Substances Authority will determine whether the consent for which the application is made will be granted, and any conditions that should be imposed.

Members of the public may inspect a copy of the application at Esso Petroleum Company Limited, Marsh Lane, Fawley, Southampton, SO45 1TX during the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday inclusive.

Representations (including comments and questions) concerning the application may be made to the Hazardous Substances Authority in writing at the above address or by email to the following address dev.control@nfdc.gov.uk within 21 days of Monday 18th of November 2024.
