PRE-APPLICATION CONSULTATION PUBLIC EVENT

The Town and Country Planning Act 1990.

Proposal: Installation of up to 49.9MWac Capacity Solar Farm and Embedded Battery Storage with Associated Infrastructure. Site Location: Land at Hare Hill Farm, Shotton Colliery, East Durham, DH6 2BA A drop in event is being held for the purposes of community consultation for this development proposal. The in-person event will take place on Wednesday 27th November at Ludworth Community Centre, 2 North View, Ludworth, County Durham, DH6 1NF between the hours of 3:00pm and 7:00pm.

In addition to the in-person event, there is a project website where information can be obtained and feedback given. The web address is https://locogen.com/hare-hill-solar-project/. You are also able to make comments on the proposal directly to the developer at this stage, either at the above event and or in writing to planning@locogen.com The deadline for comments is Sunday 8th December 2024.

Please note at this stage any comments made to the prospective applicant are not representations to the planning authority and if the prospective applicant submits an application there will be an opportunity to make representations on that application to Durham County Council when the planning application for the proposal is submitted.
