NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCES CONSENT

I give notice that the Oil and Pipelines Agency is applying to Cheshire West and Chester Council for hazardous substances consent for the continued storage of Schedule 1 Part 2 No.34 Petroleum Products (crude oil) at Cape of Good Hope Caverns, Off Patmos Lane, Plumley, Knutsford, Cheshire, WA16 9SJ.

Members of the public may inspect a copy of the application at Plumley Petroleum Storage Depot, Back Lane, Plumley, Knutsford, Cheshire, WA16 9SJ during all reasonable hours until 13 December 2024.

Anyone who wishes to make representations about this application should write to Development Management, Cheshire West and Chester Council, 4 Civic Way, Ellesmere Port CH65 0BE by 13 December 2024. Cheshire West and Cheshire Council is the Hazardous Substances Authority and it will decide whether or not to grant consent, and if to grant, will decide on what conditions to include on the consent.
