What is planned?

Notice under Article 13 of the Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) Order 2015, Section 67 & 73 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990, and Regulation 5 & 5A of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Regulations 1990.

North Yorkshire Council (Craven) has received the following applications that are required to be advertised under the above legislation for the reasons stated.

Application No: ZA24/26084/FUL Proposal: Proposed conversion of existing public house to form 6 no. apartments with associated off-street parking and garden areas for Inns & Homes Ltd Location: Craven Hotel Craven Street Skipton BD23 2AP Reasons: Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area. Affects the setting of a Listed Building.

Application No: ZA24/26085/LBC Proposal: Proposed conversion of existing public house to form 6 no. apartments with associated off-street parking and garden areas for Inns & Homes Ltd Location: Craven Hotel Craven Street Skipton BD23 2AP Reason: Proposes works to a Listed Building.

Application No: ZA24/26460/HH Proposal: Erection of timber garden room for Ms Trace Colquitt Location: 27 Collinge Road Cowling BD22 0AG Reason: Would affect the route of a public right of way.

Application No: ZA24/26432/FUL Proposal: Change of use of former builders' offices and store Class E to form 2 no. dwellinghouses Class C3 including balconies, formation of car parking and associated boundary enclosures and landscaping retrospective for Mr Stephen Davy Location: Warehouse Woodland Street Cowling BD22 0BS Reason: Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

Application No: ZA24/26405/FUL Proposal: Erection of agricultural building for Mr John Tinker Location: Fold Barn Cowling Hill Lane Cowling BD22 0LL Reason: Affects the setting of a Listed Building.

Application No: ZA24/26478/FUL Proposal: Single-storey extension to existing workshop to provide new MOT area and new valet area for Ribblesdale Jaguar Land Rover Service Centre Location: Ribblesdale Motors Ltd Station Road Settle BD24 9AD Reason: Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

Application No: ZA24/26400/FUL Proposal: Conversion of barn to two dwellings and the construction of six new dwellings plus off-street parking and associated infrastructure for Mr & Mrs Smith Location: Beckside Farm Beck Side Carleton BD23 3ET Reasons: Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area. Affects the setting of a Listed Building.

The applications are available to view and for comment online at publicaccess.cravendc.gov.uk/online-applications/ or electronically at 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ.

Representations can also be sent in writing to Development Management, 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ so as to arrive no later than 5th December 2024. All comments received will be available for public inspection and will be viewable on the internet along with the application details. However, we will endeavour to prevent signatures, telephone numbers and email addresses from appearing on the comments published on the internet.
