works.) Condition no.7 shall be
amended to read: “Within 21 days
of a written request by the Council,
following a noise complaint which
it judges to be reasonable from the
occupant of a dwelling which lawfully
exists or has planning permission
for construction at the date of this
consent, the wind turbine operator
shall, at their expense employ a
suitably qualified and competent
person to assess the level of noise
emissions from the wind turbine at
the complainant’s property following
the procedures described in pages
102-109 of ETSU-R-97.” Condition
no.8 shall be amended to read: “The
wind farm operator shall provide
to the Council the independent
consultant’s assessment of the rating
level of noise emissions within 3
months of the date of the written
request from the Council following a
reasonable noise complaint unless
otherwise agreed by the Council.
The assessment shall include all
data collected for the purposes
of undertaking the compliance
measurements and analysis.”
