Mid and East Antrim Borough Council has examined the following planning application, which
was accompanied by an Environmental Statement, has assessed its impact on the environment
as required by the Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations (Northern Ireland)
2017 and has granted planning permission for the proposed development.

Location: Lands located immediately west of Liminary Road, approx. 420m south of Ballylesson
Road, approx. 400m North of Ballycowan Road and approx. 560m East of Cromkill Road, Ballymena
Proposal: Proposed solar farm and associated infrastructure including ground mounted solar
PV panels on support frames, substation, inverters, transformers, fencing CCTV cameras,
temporary construction compound, access works, internal service tracks, landscaping and
ancillary site works.
