What is planned?

THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT PROCEDURE) (ENGLAND) ORDER 2015

The following applications have been submitted for consideration by the Council:

24/0505/FH - Former Rotunda Amusement Park, Plots F1, F2, G1, G2 and H, Marine Parade, Folkestone, CT20 1SU - Approval of reserved matters (layout, access, scale, appearance, and landscaping) of Phases 5 and Phase 6 comprising Plots F1, F2, G1, G2, and H and the harbour public realm for the erection of residential dwellinghouses, commercial space, associated car and cycle parking, landscaping, playspace, public realm and associated services, amenities and plant and the discharge of conditions 8 (public open space), 9 (water use) 20 (biodiversity) and 21 (wind flow mitigation), pursuant to S73 outline planning permission Y17/1099/SH.

24/1079/FH - BEACHBOROUGH PARK, BEACHBOROUGH, NEWINGTON, CT18 8BW - Conversion of storage building and erection of single-storey side extension to form three additional en-suite bed and breakfast rooms and a laundry room to support the existing bed & breakfast business

24/1448/FH - 6A METROPOLE COURT, THE LEAS, FOLKESTONE, CT20 2LT - Listed Building Consent for internal alterations to non-historic fabric and external new foul cast iron downpipe T-connection.

24/1554/FH - ELHAM MANOR, THE ROW, ELHAM, CANTERBURY, CT4 6UL - Listed Building Consent for the installation of Slimlite double glazing in a single large bay sash window

24/1619/FH - PUMPING STATION, BLUE HOUSE LANE, SALTWOOD - Change of use, conversion and alteration of former pumping station, together with the erection of a one, two and three storey extension, associated landscaping and engineering works, following demolition of existing structures, to create a residential dwelling

24/1674/FH - Shoreline Crescent, Folkestone, Kent CT20 1FE - Installation of two sections of temporary boardwalk  and installation of low level posts mounted with CCTV cameras.

24/1685/FH - LAND OPPOSITE ABBATRIDGE COTTAGE, ASHFORD ROAD, BRENZETT - Retrospective change of use from agriculture to equestrian, erection of stables, siting of storage container, associated hard and soft landscaping

24/1690/FH - Land Opposite Quince Cottage, Ashford Road, Brenzett, Ashford, TN29 OBJ - Retrospective change of use from agriculture to equestrian, erection of stables, associated hard and soft landscaping

24/1700/FH - The Dukes Head, 9 Dymchurch Road, Hythe, CT21 6JB - Listed building consent for the addition of external lighting

Representations can be made in writing either on line on the Council’s website, by email to planning@folkestone-hythe.gov.uk or in writing to the Chief Planning Officer, Folkestone & Hythe District Council, Civic Centre, Castle Hill Avenue, Folkestone, Kent, CT20 2QY.  Please always quote the application reference number.  Comments should be made in writing within 21 days from the date of publication.  Please note that any representations received will be publically viewable on the Council’s website.

The applications marked (*) do not accord with the provisions of the development plan in force in the area in which the land to which the application relates is situated.
