NOTICE OF MAKING AN ORDER - PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990, SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14 PUBLIC PATH NO. DH3 (PART) DIVERSION ORDER 2024
This Order was made on 31 October 2024.The effect of the Order will be to
divert part of Public Footpath DH3 in the Parish of Great Oxenden from a
line commencing at point A on the Order Map at National Grid Reference
‘NGR’ SP 73303 83387. The route then proceeds generally north, alongside
28 Main Street for 21 metres, to terminate at point C at NGR SP 73302
83408. The route is shown on the Order Map by a solid black line between
points A-C. The footpath has an awarded width of 3ft. The proposed new
route of Public Footpath DH3 commences at Point A on the Order Map at
NGR SP 73303 83387. The route then proceeds generally east of north for
15 metres to point B at NGR SP 73306 83401. The route then turns northwest and proceeds for a further 8 metres to terminate at point C at NGR SP
73302 83408. The new route is shown on the Order Map by a broken black
line between points A-B-C and will have a width of 2 metres throughout
its length as shown on the Order Map.
A copy of the Order and the Order Map have been placed and may be seen
free of charge at the offices of the West Northamptonshire Council,
One Angel Square, Angel Street, NORTHAMPTON, NN1 1ED between the
hours of 9am and 12noon and 2pm and 4pm Monday to Friday inclusive or
during normal opening hours at Brixworth Library, Spratton Road,
Brixworth. Copies of the Order and map may be bought by emailing
planning@westnorthants.gov.uk at the price of £5.00 + VAT.
Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing
to the Head of Legal Services (Place), West Northamptonshire Council,
The Guildhall, St Giles Square, NORTHAMPTON, NN1 1DE not later than
5th December 2024. Please state the grounds on which they are made.
If no such representations about or objections are duly made, or if any so
made are withdrawn, the West Northamptonshire Council may confirm
the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of
State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any
representation and objections which have not been withdrawn will be
sent with the Order.
