What is planned?
NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 13 OF APPLICATION FOR PLANNING PERMISSION ACCOMPANIED BY AN ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT AND REGULATION 25: FURTHER INFORMATION RESPECTING AN ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT
I give notice that further information is available in relation to an Environmental Statement which has already been provided. On 11 September 2023, Old Sarum Airfield Ltd made an application for planning permission (Reference Number PL/2023/07368) to Wiltshire Council for Outline application with all matters reserved, except means of access to site, for the demolition, modification & renovation of existing buildings, structures & site development. Provision of approx. 315 residential dwellings, & mixture of employment, commercial/leisure, & aviation uses, including a "flying hub" comprising control tower, heritage centre, visitor centre, cafe/ restaurant, parachute centre, aviation archives & aircraft hangars. Provision of new vehicular access to surrounding highways network, car parking, & connections to surrounding footpath/cycle networks. Green infrastructure provision, including open space, play space, foot & cycle paths, & landscape enhancement areas, & sustainable urban drainage system & wastewater treatment works. Associated vegetation removal, ground modification & engineering works at Land at Old Sarum Airfield, Old Sarum, Salisbury, Wilts, SP4 6DZ. - Design and Access Statement - amended at pages 41, 42, 50 and 65
- Design Code - amended on pages 20, 33, 39 and 55
- Environmental Statement - An Addendum of September 2024 to the ES dated July 2023 has been produced and is included in the appeal papers.
Presented with this appeal is therefore a separate Addendum Environmental Statement (September 2024), to be read alongside the submitted March 2023 Environmental Statement. Separately attached is a full tracked changed Environmental Statement document set that includes the changes made in the Addendum (September 2024). Members of the public may inspect the further information documentation on the Council's website www.wiltshire.gov.uk.
