What is planned?
TOWN & COUNTRY PLANNING (SCOTLAND) ACT 1997 (AS AMENDED)
Green Switch Capital invites the public to take part in the consultation for the proposed Upper Westown BESS development at Upper Westown Farm, AB39 2XU, c1.5km south of A90. The nearest settlement is Catterline some 6km to the south-east. The development will involve battery storage units, transformers and associated infrastructure on c.1.4 hectares of land.
We will be holding our second and final public event from 3PM-7PM on Wednesday 13th November 2024 at Kinneff Village Hall, Kinneff, Montrose, DD10 0TE.
We would like to invite you to attend our pre application consultation event so you can learn more about the project and we can hear your views on the proposal.

Please note that any comments made to the prospective applicant are not representations to the planning authority and when the prospective applicant submits a planning application there will be an opportunity to make direct representations to the planning authority.
