Notice under regulation 7(2)(b) Pre-application consultation


by the prospective applicant.
Proposed development by City of Edinburgh Council (Development and Regeneration) at land bounded by Niddrie Mains Road, Craigmillar Castle Loan and Seacole Square , EH16 4DT to replace existing partly vacant retail parade with new mixed use development of residential (affordable housing), retail, business and leisure (Use Classes 1A, 3 and 4) with landscaping, access, associated infrastructure and ancillary works.
An in person consultation event will be held on Tuesday 12th November 2024 at Craigmillar Library, 101 Niddrie Mains Road where interested parties can view the plans anytime between 3pm and 7pm. Persons wishing to make comments on the proposals should do so by 29th November via the survey form available at www.edinburgh.gov.uk/craigmillarnewhomes , by emailing housingregeneration@edinburgh.gov.uk or writing to The City of Edinburgh Council (Development & Regeneration), Waverley Court, Level G.5, 4 East Market Street, Edinburgh, EH8 8BG.
This notice does not relate to a live planning application and at this stage comments should not be made to the Planning Department of City of Edinburgh Council. Any comments made to the prospective applicant -City of Edinburgh Council (Development and Regeneration) - are not representations to the Council as a planning authority. If a planning application is subsequently submitted, normal neighbour notification and publicity will be undertaken and you will have the opportunity to make formal representations regarding the proposal at that time.
