What is planned?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -

SECTION 14(1)

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL

(BRAGENHAM LANE, HEATH AND REACH)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Bragenham Lane, Heath and Reach outside Rushmoor Heath Nursery.

This temporary closure is required to enable repairs to a sluice valve cover and frame to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 4 to 6 November 2024. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Linslade Road, Woburn Road, Brickhill Road, Heath Road, Ivy Lane and Bragenham Lane and vice versa. The Order will come into operation on 04 November 2024 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Billington Road, Leighton Buzzard between Chartmoor Road and Leighton Buzzard Bypass.

This temporary closure is required to enable surface dressing pre-patching works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 4 to 15 November 2024 between the hours of 9am and 3:30pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Chartmoor Road, Grovebury Road, Leighton Buzzard Bypass (A4146) and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 4 November 2024 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central

Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Lake Street, Leighton Buzzard outside the petrol station.

This temporary closure is required to enable carriageway repairs and gully replacement works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from

4 to 6 November 2024 between the hours of 9am and 3:30pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Leston Road, West Street, Leighton Road, Old Road, Soulbury Road, Leighton Road, A4146, A4012 and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 4 November 2024 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(LEIGHTON BUZZARD BYPASS, LEIGHTON BUZZARD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Leighton Buzzard Bypass, Leighton Buzzard from a point approximately 650 metres west of the Watling Street roundabout to the Stanbridge Road roundabout.

This temporary closure is required to enable drainage CCTV works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 1 to 3 November 2024 between the hours of 8pm and 6am. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via A505, A5, A4012, A4146 and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 1 November 2024 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.
