Application Number: NY/2024/0159/ENV Proposed development at Barlow Ash Mound, located immediately north-west of Drax Power Station near Selby, North Yorkshire YO8 8PH. I give notice that Drax Power Ltd is applying to North Yorkshire Council for planning permission for the extraction & export of pulverised fuel ash (PFA) & furnace bottom ash (FBA) from Barlow Ash Mound in two phases (Phase 1 & Phase 2) & associated development including a weighbridge, wheel wash facilities, screening & processing plant, lighting columns, landscaping & site restoration & that the application is accompanied by an Environmental Statement.
