What is planned?
SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL STRATTON ST MARGARET AND WROUGHTON 20MPH SPEED LIMIT TRAFFIC ORDERS
Notice is HEREBY GIVEN that Swindon Borough Council propose to make the following Orders under the relevant sections of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to introduce 20mph speed limit as follow:
ST/TRO/Dores Road (Various Roads, Swindon) (Speed Limits) Consolidation Order 2022 (Variation No. 12) 2024. 20mph on Dores Road, The Sunflowers, Orchard Grove, Haig Close, St Philips Road, Farrfield, Clays Close, Laurel Crescent, Lupin Close, Green Road (to the junction with Greenlands Road), Abbey Wood Park, Hermitage Lane, Wheatsheaf Gardens, Stratone Mews and Old Dairy Close.
ST/TRO/Inverary Road (Various Roads, Swindon) (Speed Limits) Consolidation Order 2022 (Variation No. 8) 2023. 20mph on Inverary Road, Anthony Road, Barcelona Crescent, Beaufont Road, Blenheim Road, Boness Road, Charterhouse Road, Dunbar Road, Ellingdon Road, Falkirk Road, Kellsboro Road, Kennet Road, Kerrs Way, Lancaster Road, Maskeleyne Way, Maunsell Way, Plummer Close, Savill Crescent, St Andrews Close, St John Road, Stirling Close, Summerhouse Road, Victoria Cross Road.
A copy of the documents for the Order may be inspected online at www.swindon.gov.uk/trafficregulationorders. Objections or representations to the proposed Order should be made by completing the consultation form which can be found at www.swindon.gov.uk/trafficregulationorders under 'Stage 2 - Formal consultation' with the appropriate references by no later than 8 November 2024. Any objection or representation received will form part of a public record, which may be made publicly available.
