What is planned?

LINCOLNSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

PLANNING NOTICE

The following applications have been submitted:

PL/0091/24 – Lincoln Castle, Castle Hill, Lincoln – planning permission for the installation of a public light display within the castle, with four chalets to serve food during the Christmas period between 10 November to 15 January annually for a period of five years until 15 January 2030. The event would be open to the public for a period of 30 days within the period 24 November until 30 December annually for five years until 10 January 2030. The proposed development affects the setting of Grade I, II* and II Listed Buildings and the character or appearance of the Lincoln No1. Conservation Area.

PL/0097/24 – County Offices, Newland, Lincoln – planning permission to vary condition 2 of planning permission 2024/0089/ CCC – to reflect the new drawings for the removal of an existing window and brick cill on the north facade to facilitate new access to the ceremony garden via an external ramp. The proposed development affects the setting of Grade ll Listed Building and the character or appearance of West Parade and Brayford Conservation Area. 

St Peter in Eastgate Infants School, Greetwell Gate, Lincoln – for the removal of an existing chimney and subsequent making good works externally. PL/0098/24 – Planning permission – the proposed development affects the setting of a Grade II Listed Building and the character or appearance of Lindum and Arboretum Conservation Area; and PL/0099/24 – Listed Building Consent.
