Site - Land at Power Court, Luton, Beds

Description: Hybrid application for a mixed-use development comprising: Full details for a new stadium, with ancillary stadium-related facilities including spectator and media facilities, conference rooms, food and beverage facilities and commercial space, community facilities, works to the River Lea, associated access, highways, utilities, public realm including flexible open space for various uses and events, hard and soft landscaping, coach and car parking facilities and other associated works. Outline application for a music venue and hotel and associated works, with interim use of the podium for the music venue as a fan zone and all matters reserved except for siting.

The proposed development is classed as Major Development and does not accord with the provisions of the development plan in the area in which the site to which the application relates, is situated, and is accompanied by an Environmental Statement.(ES)
