What is planned?

SOUTH DERBYSHIRE DISTRICT COUNCIL

The Council has under consideration the following applications:

Ref: DMPA/2024/0978 (Affects a Conservation Area & Listed Building) Internal & external alterations to facilitate the conversion of an outbuilding into living accommodation at 125 Penn Lane, Melbourne

Ref: DMPA/2024/1059 (Affects a Conservation Area) Alterations to boundaries, changes to landscaping & works to trees at Thomas Cook Gardens, High Street, Melbourne

Ref: DMPA/2024/1157 (Affects a Conservation Area & the Setting of a Listed Building) The replacement of shopfront, windows and doors at 2-4, Unit 1 & 2 Market Street, Swadlincote

Ref: DMPA/2024/1170 (Affects a Conservation Area) The erection of a replacement 6 bed dwelling at 1 Corner Gates, The Pastures, Repton

Ref: DMPA/2024/1182 (Major Development) The variation of condition 14 (store opening times) to enable deliveries to be taken or dispatched from the site 1 hour earlier on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays than currently allowed under permission ref. DMPA/2021/1378 for the erection of food store (Use Class E), with car parking, landscaping, & associated works on Land north of Drift Road, Castle Gresley

Applications may be viewed at planning.southderbyshire. gov.uk or during working hours at the Civic Offices, Civic Way, Swadlincote, DE11 0AH. Any comments must be made in writing, quoting the application reference number, within 21 days of the date of the publication of this notice (not including public holidays)

This notice is given in accordance with provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 and/or associated subordinate legislation.

Under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, all representations received become documents, which the public has a right to read and copy. We collect information from you when you contact us about a planning or associated application, enforcement complaint, planning enquiry, or local planning policy consultation. 

This includes contact by email, letter or telephone. When commenting on planning or associated applications, we do need your postal address to enable fair consideration of your comments. We will use your information to allow us to fully consider the relevant application, enforcement complaint or planning enquiry. Comments and objections on applications and enforcement matters do not form part of the statutory register, and as such we will only retain these for up to two years following a decision being made unless an appeal is lodged.
