What is planned?

STONEYETTS ROAD, MOODIESBURN (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE)

ORDER 2024

On 16 September 2024 the North Lanarkshire Council made the abovenamed Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and in exercise of all other enabling powers, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged on carriageway resurfacing works) on Stoneyetts Road, Moodiesburn from Cumbernauld Road A80 to Glenmanor Avenue by reason of works being executed on or near that location. Alternative routes: Cumbernauld Road (A80), Mollins Road (A80), Gartferry Road and Stoneyetts Road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained, where practicable, during the closure.

Vehicular access will be maintained, where practicable, during the closure. The Order, will come into operation at 0001 hours on Monday, 30 September 2024 and will remain in operation until 2359 hours on Friday, 11 October 2024.
