EAST HOATHLY WITH HALLAND – WD/2024/1626/MFA
Proposed development at Hesmonds Stud, Waldron Road, East Hoathly BN8 6QH. I give notice that Redrow Homes Ltd c/o Urbanissta Ltd is applying to Wealden District Council for planning permission for Variation of Condition 29 of WD/2022/0341/MAJ (detailed application for 205 no. homes (including 35% affordable) with a mix of 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom dwellings accessed off London Road with a further pedestrian and emergency access off Waldron Road and associated landscaping, green infrastructure and drainage features) to enable affordable housing tenure changes, removal of apartments from scheme and re-planning of plots 64-67 & 147-169/69 to affordable dwellings, revisions to house types, moving of plots 107-109 west to accommodate bigger garden to plot 96, and minor changes to road margins/drainage designs. The development does not accord with the provisions of the development plan in force in the area in which the land to which the application relates is situated.
HAILSHAM – WD/2024/1961/MFA
Proposed development at 60A Battle Road and land to Rear, Hailsham, BN27 1DU. I give notice that Mr Steve Hook c/o Baker Architectural Ltd is applying to Wealden District Council for planning permission for variation of Condition 7 of WD/2023/0637/MRM (reserved matters (appearance, landscaping and scale) pursuant to outline permission WD/2022/1507/OA (variation of Condition 7 of WD/2020/1220/MAO (outline application for nine new dwellings and one replacement dwelling, with parking and new access from Battle Road) to remove item iii from the condition) to allow for increase in roof areas to maximise allowance of solar panel provisions and removal of chimneys to ensure thorough airtightness, to enable the dwellings to meet an EPC rating of grade A and almost to a passive standard, helping the buildings to be low carbon in both construction and occupation. The development does not accord with the provisions of the development plan in force in the area in which the land to which the application relates is situated.
