Koehler Renewable Energy UK (KRE) is developing Charleston Energy Park (the Proposed Development) which would have up to six wind turbines with a maximum height to be confirmed. The site will also include access tracks and grid infrastructure and may include a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).

We will have information available about who Koehler Renewable Energy is, our projects in Scotland to date, and the material community benefit that we have brought to communities we work with.

KRE is committed to meaningful and ongoing community engagement. This initial event will allow for you to meet senior members of the project team, and much more critically, allow us to meet you.

KRE hopes interested members of the community can attend, particularly to register your initial ideas for potential funding, sponsorship and grants from a potential community benefit fund if the project is consented.
