What is planned?

I give notice that the following planning applications have been received by Hyndburn Borough Council:

Notice of Planning Applications for Developments affecting the Character or Appearance of a Conservation Area.

Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) (Amendment)(England) Regulations 2004. Regulation 5 & 5A.

Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 Part II Section 73.

The developments could, in the opinion of the Council, affect the character or appearance of the Church Canalside Conservation Area (11/24/0360) and The Great Harwood Conservation Area (11/24/0352)

Applications can be viewed on a computer in the reception area at Scaitcliffe House, or on the Hyndburn BC website at www.hyndburnbc.gov.uk.by going to the Planning & Environment section and clicking on View Applications.

Anyone who wishes to make representations about any application should write to the Council at the above address or by email to planning@hyndburnbc.gov.uk by 11/10/2024.

For Application Nos. 11/24/0360 and 11/24/0352.

In the event that an appeal is made against a decision of the Council to refuse to grant planning permission for the proposed development, and that appeal then proceeds by way of the expedited procedure under the written representations procedure, any representations made by the owner or tenant to the Council about this application will be passed to the Secretary of State and there will be no opportunity to make further representations. Any owner or tenant wishing to make representations should do so by the date given above.
