What is planned?

Borough of Telford & Wrekin 

Telford & Wrekin Council has received the following planning applications which require publication. 

TWC/2024/0659 – Domino’s, 77 High Street, Newport – Variation of condition 5 (opening hours) and condition 6 (deposited plans) of planning permission TWC/2023/0649 (Change of use of restaurant and takeaway (Sui Generis) to a hot food takeaway (Sui Generis), installation of extraction equipment including 1no. replacement flue, fresh air intake, air conditioning unit and cold room compressors, water heater flue, internal alterations and replacement external rear door) to allow the change of extended opening hours to 11:00-23:00 Monday-Thursday, 11:00-03:00 Friday- Saturday and 11:00-23:00 Sunday and public/bank holidays and allow amendments of plant equipment details on previously approved plans. 

TWC/2024/0669 – Telford Steam Railway, Bridge Road, Horsehay – Erection of a signal box on the Horsehay and Dawley station platform 

TWC/2024/0673 – Granville Landfill, Grange Lane, Redhill – Variation of condition 19 (topsoil and subsoil mound heights) of planning permission TWC/2023/0205 (Variation of Conditions 6 and 13 of planning permission W2006/0232 (Extension to existing landfill site by deepening and raising contour profile by about 2m and restoration of the site with variation to conditions 7.13 and 20 of planning consent Ref: MW/94/0424/WR) to allow the disposal of permitted wastes within the landfill area to continue until 31st December 2030 and to reduce the permitted daily limit of waste to 1350 tonnes) to allow for the rewording of condition 19 in respect of the height of the topsoil and subsoil mounds on site for the duration of the permitted operations 

TWC/2024/0677 – The Brewery Inn, High Street, Coalport – Erection of a single storey side and rear extension, erection of a single storey rear extension, erection of a fixed glazed screen to front passageway and internal layout changes to facilitate the creation of additional holiday accommodation (Listed Building Consent) 

TWC/2024/0679 – 8 Donnerville Drive, Admaston – Reinstatement of internal stud wall and insertion of 2no. doors (Listed Building Consent) 

The above application(s) can be viewed on planning online at https:// secure.telford.gov.uk/planning/home.aspx. Written representations can be made on planning online or by email at planning.control@ telford.gov.uk and need to be received by 3 rd October 2024 (14 days for public service infrastructure development or permission in principle applications), excluding public/bank holidays and 30 days for applications accompanied by an environmental statement from the date of this publication. If a written representation appeal is made to the Secretary of State for a householder or minor commercial application no further representations can be made and existing representations will be forwarded to them (TWC LP19924)
