What is planned?

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL

THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE

(Orchehill Ave, Chalfont St Peter) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Orchehill Ave for approx 89M. Alternative route: Orchehill Ave, Bull Ln, Austenwood Common, South Side, Packhorse Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Cadent Gas mains replacement works commence on 23rd September 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 23 rd September 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Penn Rd, Hazlemere) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Penn Rd for approx 72M. Alternative route: Penn Rd, Amersham Rd, Whielden Ln, Amersham Bypass, Gore Hill, Ledborough Ln, Witheridge Ln, Church Rd, Elm Rd, Hazlemere Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Sink hole repair commence on 22nd September 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 22nd September 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

(Bottrells Ln, Chalfont St Giles) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Bottrells Ln for approx 1540M. Alternative route: Bottrells Ln, Silver Hill, Up Corner, High St, Amersham Rd, London Rd East, Amersham Bypass, Gore Hill and vice versa. The closure is required whilst failed road resurfacing commences on 23rd September 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 23rd September 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
