What is planned?
Pre-Application Consultation
The Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2013, as amended
Notice under Regulation 7(2)(b) of the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2013, as amended. Pre-application consultation by Vestas Offshore Wind Blades UK Ltd in respect of a proposed manufacturing facility for offshore wind
turbine blades, laydown area and all associated and ancillary development on land to the east of Imperial Dock, Port of Leith, Edinburgh.
The Applicant has put in place the following pre-application consultation arrangements for the
second and final public exhibition event:
A public exhibition will be held on 26 September 2024 between 3pm and 7pm at Leith Community Centre, 12a Newkirkgate, Edinburgh, EH6 6AD where representatives of the prospective Applicant will be available to discuss the proposals.
Details of the proposed development will also be available to view at
www.larnermcgrath.co.uk from 26 September 2024.

Comments should not be made to the planning authority, City of Edinburgh Council. Any comments made to the prospective Applicant are not representations to the planning authority, City of Edinburgh. If a planning application is submitted to City of Edinburgh Council in its capacity as planning authority, normal neighbour notification and publicity will be undertaken at that time and you will have the opportunity to make formal representations regarding the proposal.
