What is planned?

Notice under Article 13 of the Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) Order 2015,

Section 67 & 73 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990, and Regulation 5 & 5A of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Regulations 1990.

North Yorkshire Council (Craven) has received the following applications that are required to be advertised under the above legislation for the reasons stated.

Application No: ZA24/26303/LBC.

Proposal: Fascia and projecting signs to new retail shopfronts, along with window decals and signage to side laneway for Equorium Property Company Ltd.

Location: Former Rackhams/House of Fraser 31, 33, 35, 37, 39, 41 High Street Skipton BD23 1DU

Reason(s): Proposes works to a Listed Building.

Application No: ZA24/26297/HH.

Proposal: Replacement of 4 existing timber casement windows on South elevation of property with timber framed windows for Mr James McCracken.

Location: 9 Kirkgate Settle BD24 9DX

Reason(s): Affects the character and appearance of a Conservation Area.

Application No: 2021/23148/REM.

Proposal: Reserved matters application for residential development of 23 houses (submitted pursuant to approved planning references 62/2017/18064 & 2023/24710/VAR that authorise an employment led mixed-use development on the site on the site) for Candelisa Ltd.

Location: Anley Crag Business Park Land at West Of B6480 (Skipton Road) Settle

Reason(s): Is a Major Development proposal.

Application No: ZA24/26269/FULMAJ.

Proposal: Proposed extension to existing warehouse unit, for Forster, Wilson & Company Ltd.

Location: Merrie Mills Business Park Snaygill Industrial Estate Skipton BD23 2QR

Reason(s): Is a Major Development proposal.

Application No: ZA24/26178/FUL.

Proposal: Re-use and extension of modern barn to create dwellinghouse, including use of cart shed for storage and use of shippon (with associated works) to form plant room and store for Mr Paul Bratt.

Location: Town Head Farm Hebnusck Lane Newby Clapham

Reason(s): Proposes works to a Listed Building.

The applications are available to view and for comment online at https://publicaccess.cravendc.gov.uk/online-applications/ or electronically at 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ.

Representations can also be sent in writing to Development Management, 1 Belle Vue Square, Broughton Road, Skipton, BD23 1FJ so as to arrive no later than 3rd October 2024.

All comments received will be available for public inspection and will be viewable on the internet along with the application details. However, we will endeavour to prevent signatures, telephone numbers and email addresses from appearing on the comments published on the internet.
