LAND at REYNOLDS AVENUE, SOUTH SHIELDS
APPROPRIATION OF OPEN SPACE FOR HOUSING DEVELOPMENT
NOTICE is hereby given that the Council intend to appropriate approximately 4,400m2 of
land situated at Reynolds Avenue, South Shields, which consists of open space, held for
Housing and Social Services purposes, to planning purposes. This is to facilitate the
development re-development and/or improvement of the land consisting of the erection of new council housing accommodation. Following the appropriation of the land to planning purposes the land shall thereafter be appropriated to housing purpose. Any objections to the intended appropriations must be submitted in writing to Phil Dixon, Head of Strategic Housing and Assets, at the address below or by email to
phil.dixon@southtyneside.gov.uk. To be received by no later than 5pm 11th October 2024.
