Notice of an Application to Amend the Common Land Map to Match the Commons Register for Midhurst Common at Bepton
(Application Reference No. CL 1/24)
To every reputed owner, lessee tenant or occupier of any part of
the land described below and to all others whom it may concern:
Application has been made to WSCC as Commons Registration
Authority by Bellway Homes Ltd under Section 19 of the Commons
Act 2006 and in accordance with the Commons Registration
(England) Regulations 2014. The application seeks to amend
the map of common land relating to CL169 by updating it to reflect
changes made to the corresponding register on 9 March 1972.
The application, which includes a plan of the land, may be
inspected at office of the Directorate of Law & Assurance,
WSCC, County Hall, Chichester, West Sussex PO19 1RQ
between the hours of 0900 to 1600 on Mondays to Fridays
(except Public Holidays) or on the Council’s website

If the application is granted the registration authority will amend the common land map to reflect the information in the common land register.
Any person wishing to object to the application should send
a statement of the facts on which the objection is based to
Directorate of Law & Assurance, WSCC, County Hall, Chichester,
West Sussex, PO19 1RQ or email: legal.services@westsussex.gov.uk quoting reference CC803.16816 on or before 24 October 2024. Representations must include the name and postal address of the person making them and the nature of that person’sinterest, must be signed by the person making the representation and must state the grounds on which they are made
Any representations received by the Authority cannot be treated
as confidential and will be copied to the applicant for comment
and may be disclosed to other interested parties.
