NOTICE OF STOPPING UP ORDER LONDON BOROUGH OF HILLINGDON FOOTPATH U81, THE GREENWAY
TOWN & COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14
The above Order was made on 11 September 2024. The effect of the Order will be to stop up a section of the footpath known as U81 that crosses the Chiltern Line Railway via a subway and runs in a northwest and northeast direction for an overall length of 190m from a point off The Greenway (TQ 08001 86916 and TQ08010 86914.) The section of U81 to be stopped up is divided into two parts. The first part runs 60m in a northwest direction from point A referenced on the plan attached to the Order. The second part of U81 turns to a northeast direction and runs 130m underground as a subway to point B referenced on the plan attached to the Order.
A copy of the Order and plan may be inspected free of charge from 9am to 4.45pm Monday to Friday at the London Borough of Hillingdon offices, at Main Reception, Civic Centre, High Street, Uxbridge UB8 1UW.
Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to the Head of Development Management and Building Control, London Borough of Hillingdon, Civic Centre, High Street, Uxbridge UB8 1UW or by email to planning@hillingdon.gov.uk not later than 8 October 2024. Please quote “Footpath U81 The Greenway”.
Please state the grounds on which representations are made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if so made are withdrawn, London Borough of Hillingdon Council may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for confirmation any representation or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
