Great Yarmouth Borough Council has received the following applications for development in the Borough of Great Yarmouth, which are hereby advertised:

THE PROPOSALS BELOW ARE ADVERTISED FOR THE FOLLOWING REASON:

  • Application for outline planning permission with all matters reserved for future determination, for the proposed redevelopment of holiday park recreation and model railway attraction for a residential development of 109 bungalows. Former Engine Shed, Land to the east of Parklands, North Road, Hemsby. Application No: 06/23/0580/O (1,2).

  • Retrospective application for change of use from dwelling (Use Class C3) to a House of Multiple Occupation of up to 6 residents (Use Class C4). 15 Aspley Road, Great Yarmouth. Application No: 06/23/0874/CU (3).

  • Change of use of former poultry rearing facility and agricultural land to provide an animal sanctuary, wildlife rescue and welfare centre (Sui Generis use) comprising use of existing poultry sheds for bird rescue, rehabilitation and storage, and erection of 2no. sheds, standing area and aviary pens and associated parking. Heath Farm Poultry Farm, land to the north, Blanks Close (off Market Lane), Filby. Application No: 06/24/0296/F (3).

Written representations should be sent to the above address by 27 September 2024 quoting the application number(s). All representations will be recorded on a public file, be viewable on the Councils website, and will be referred to by the Secretary of State’s inspector in the event of an appeal.
