What is planned?

Regulations 2013 as amended by The Town and Country Planning (Pre-Application Consultation) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2021.
Notice under Regulation 7(2) (b) Pre-application consultation by the prospective applicant for mixed-use development potentially comprising residential, senior living, hotel, office, retail and other commercial uses and creation of new public realm with associated landscaping, infrastructure and access arrangements on land at the former Saica Pack Facility, 1 Turnhouse Road, Edinburgh.
The second of two drop-in consultation events will take place on 11 September 2024 between 2pm and 7pm at Delta Hotels by Marriott, 111 Glasgow Road, Edinburgh, EH12 8NF. During this time, members of the project team will be available to respond to any questions and receive feedback on the proposals. If you wish to make comments on the proposals shown at this second event, you may do so via a feedback form available at the event or the project website, by email, or in writing no later than 25 September 2024.
This notice does not relate to a planning application. Comments should not be made to City of Edinburgh Council. Any comments made to the prospective applicant are not representations to the planning authority. If a planning application is subsequently submitted to City of Edinburgh Council, statutory neighbour notification and publicity will be undertaken at that time and you will have the opportunity to make formal representations regarding the proposal at that time.
