Notice of Application for Planning Permission

NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 15 OF THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT PROCEDURE) (ENGLAND) ORDER 2015

KCC/DA/0108/2024 – Proposed development at Land through the chalk spine under the B255 Bean Road, Bluewater Shopping Centre and Eastern Quarry, Dartford, Greenhithe, Kent DA9 9ST.

KCC Major Capital Programmes is applying to Kent County Council Planning Applications Group for planning permission for New tunnel and associated road works for bus, cycling and pedestrian access to the east of Bluewater Shopping Centre, to link the Eastern Quarry, being developed as part of Ebbsfleet Garden City, and Bluewater shopping centre through a chalk spine which separates the two former quarries.

We accept comments online via the direct link on the County Council’s website or by email to planning.applications@kent.gov.uk . You may also write to Planning Applications Group, Kent County Council, First Floor, Invicta House, County Hall, Maidstone, Kent ME14 1XX although we would strongly encourage you to submit comments online or by email at this time due to ongoing hybrid working arrangements.

We accept comments within 21 days from the date of this notice (26 September 2024). Please quote the application reference number (KCC/DA/0108/2024) and note that comments may be drawn to the attention of Council Members, the applicant and other interested persons and may include publishing on the Borough Council website.
