DRAFT PLANNING OBLIGATIONS SUPPLEMENTARY PLANNING DOCUMENT (SPD)
Notice is hereby given that the Council has published a draft SPD for public consultation. Consultation runs from 20th August to 1st October 2024. The SPD with details on how to respond can be viewed online at https://engage.barnet.gov.uk/The Council has produced a new planning document on planning obligations. This helps to guide applicants for planning permission on the Council's general requirements arising from the impacts of development. The new SPD will supersede the existing Planning Obligations SPD which was adopted in 2013.
The draft Planning Obligations SPD will be the subject of a six-week period of formal public consultation from 20th August - 1st October 2024. Comments should be submitted in writing by midnight on Tuesday 1st October 2024 to: Emailing: forward. planning@barnet.gov.uk, or Post to: Planning Policy Team, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale, London, NW9 4EW Please note that representations will be made publicly available. When submitting your representation, you may also request to be notified of the adoption of Barnet's Planning Obligations SPD (2013) can be downloaded from the Councils website: https://engage.barnet.gov.uk Alternatively, the document can be made available to you by contacting the Policy Team by either email forward.planning@barnet.gov.uk or phoning 0208 359 3000.
