What is planned?

The following planning applications are those affecting the setting of a Listed Building, a Conservation Area, a Public Right of Way, or major applications and are available to view on our website. Views relating to the planning applications listed below should be made by 13 September 2024 quoting the reference number. All views expressed regarding a planning application will be considered and placed on a file, which is open to the public.

BISHOPSTROW PL/2024/07430 & PL/2024/07649 - Bishopstrow House, Boreham, Warminster, Alterations to outdoor pool area;

MELKSHAM & MELKSHAM WITHOUT PL/2024/07097 - Land South of Snarlton Farm, Snarlton Lane, Melksham, Erection of up to 300 dwellings (Class C3); land for local community use or building (incorporating Classes E(b), E(g) and F2(b) and (c)); open space and dedicated play space and service infrastructure and associated works on land South of Snarlton Farm (Outline planning application with all matters reserved except for two pedestrian and vehicle accesses (excluding internal estates roads) from Eastern Way) - Resubmission of PL/2023/07107);

TROWBRIDGE PL/2024/04752 - Renrod Motor Group, 2-8 Meridian Business Park, North Bradley, Remove existing signage and install new illuminated and non-illuminated Toyota brand signage;

PL/2024/07158 - 1A, Wicker Hill, Remove unauthorised canopy and shutters and provide glazed extension to shop;

PL/2024/07164 - River Biss Channel Between Cradle Bridge and Town Bridge, Proposed enhancements to the River Biss with installation of series of boulder berms at key points along river and baffles to ease fish passage over weir, proposed area of marginal planting south of Shires Shopping Centre;

PL/2024/07272 - The Lounge, 33 Roundstone Street, Remove previous shopfront, replacement with timber glazed shopfront, fascia signage, and interior fitted shelving and cabinetry;

PL/2024/07297 & PL/2024/07474 - The Lounge, 33 Roundstone Street, Trowbridge, BA14 8DE - Change of use from a public house (sui generis use class) to a pharmacy (use class E) including removal of previous shopfront, replace with timber glazed shopfront, fascia signage, and interior fitted shelving and cabinetry;

WARMINSTER PL/2024/07430 & PL/2024/07649 - Bishopstrow House, Boreham, Warminster, Alterations to outdoor pool area;

WESTBURY PL/2024/06001 - Coach Road Farm, Coach Road, Vary condition 2 (approved Plans) of planning application PL/2022/05984.

NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 13 OF APPLICATION FOR PLANNING PERMISSION ACCOMPANIED

BY AN ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT

I GIVE NOTICE THAT Catesby Estates Promotions Limited is applying to Wiltshire Council (PL/2024/07097) for planning permission for the Erection of up to 300 dwellings (Class C3); land for local community use or building (incorporating Classes E(b), E(g) and F2(b) and (c)); open space and dedicated play space and service infrastructure and associated works on land South of Snarlton Farm (Outline planning application with all matters reserved except for two pedestrian and vehicle accesses (excluding internal estates roads) from Eastern Way) - Resubmission of PL/2023/07107) and that the application is accompanied by an Environmental Statement. Members of the public may inspect copies of the application, the plans, the environmental statement and other documents submitted with the application on the Wiltshire Council website, www.wiltshire.gov.uk.

Relating to the application to Wiltshire Council for the Erection of up to 205 no. dwellings, community hub, public open space, access, infrastructure and associated works, with all other matters reserved at Land at Land West of Westbury Road, Warminster, BA12 0AL. An Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State will hold an Inquiry opening on the date shown above to decide the appeal.
