REASON FOR INQUIRY

Appeal by Devonhurst Investments Limited

Against the enforcement notice served by Luton Borough Council.

The notice alleges:

Without planning permission:-

(1) the change of use of the Land from an employment use to a residential use comprising of approximately 109 self-contained residential units.

(2) the erection of three two storey structures used to accommodate multiple self-contained
residential units on the Land

and the notice requires (amongst other matters):-

the residential use to cease and the three two storey structures to be demolished

An Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State under paragraph 1(1) of Schedule 6 to the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 will attend at the place, date and time shown above to decide the appeal

Members of the public may attend the inquiry and, at the discretion of the Inspector, express their views. Documents relating to the appeal including the appeal form, the Council’s and Appellant’s Statements of Case, Proofs of Evidence, (including a new proof by Mr Oteng on behalf of the Council and from an ex Shire House resident) summaries and rebuttals, (and all documents referred to in those documents)
