HYSBYSIAD O DAN ERTHYGL 18 O GAIS AM GANIATAD CYNLLUNIO MEWN PERTHYNAS A DATBLYGIAD O ARWYDDOCAD CENEDLAETHOL Datblygiad a gynigir yn: Tir rhwng traffordd yr M4 a rheilffordd Prif Linell De Cymru, ger Llanwern, Underwood a Bishton, gyda llwybr cysylltu grid arfaethedig wedi'i leoli o fewn y briffordd gyhoeddus o orllewin y Safle i'r Pwynt Cyflenwi Grid yng Ngorsaf Bwer Aber-wysg.

Rwyf yn hysbysu bod: RWE Renewables UK yn gwneud cais i Weinidogion Cymru am ganiatad cynllunio mewn perthynas a Datblygiad o Arwyddocad Cenedlaethol (DAC), sef:

Codi fferm solar gyda chapasiti cynhyrchu o tua 99.9MW, unedau storio batris, seilwaith cysylltiedig, mynediad, tirweddu a chysylltiad grid ar dir rhwng traffordd yr M4 a rheilffordd Prif Linell De Cymru, ger Llanwern, Underwood a Bishton. Gall aelodau'r cyhoedd archwilio cop'iau:

• o'r cais;

• y cynlluniau, a

• dogfennau eraill sy'n gysylltiedig a'r cais

NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 18 OF APPLICATION FOR PLANNING PERMISSION IN RESPECT OF DEVELOPMENT OF NATIONAL SIGNIFICANCE

Proposed development at: Land between the M4 motorway and the South Wales Main Line railway, near Llanwern, Underwood and Bishton, with a proposed grid connection route located within the public highway from the west of the Site to the Grid Supply Point at Uskmouth Power Station.

I give notice that: RWE Renewables UK is applying to the Welsh Ministers for planning permission in respect of

Development of National Significance (DNS) which is:

Erection of a solar farm with a generating capacity of approximately 99.9MW, battery storage units, associated infrastructure, access, landscaping and grid connection on land between the M4 motorway and the South Wales Main Line railway, near Llanwern, Underwood and Bishton.

Members of the public may inspect copies of:

• the application;

• the plans; and

• other documents associated with it

at: Newport City Council, Civic Centre, Newport.South Wales, NP20 4UR during all reasonable hours until 16.9.2024 and, online at https://planningcasework.service.gov.wales/ - and search for '3279787' THE APPLICATION IS ACCOMPANIED BY AN ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT Members of the public may obtain copies of the Environmental Statement from: RWE Renewables Europe and Australia GmbH,14 Bird Street, London, W1U 1BU for a charge, so long as stocks last.

Anyone who wishes to make representations about this application must write to the Welsh Ministers (details below) by 16.9.2024. All representations received will be published online as soon as the deadline has passed.
