The following planning application has been received which affects the setting of a Listed Building

1. Demolition of existing hotel restaurant and erection of additional hotel bedrooms with breakfast room and alterations to the car park and associated works at Premier Inn, St Andrew’s Road, Huddersfield. Application No. 2024/91828.

The following planning applications have been received which affect the setting of a Listed Building and are either within a Conservation Area or affect its setting

2. Demolition of porch, erection of single storey rear extension and installation of replacement windows at Rowton Farm, Helme, Holmfirth. Application No. 2024/91588.

3. Erection of single storey rear extension and terraced steps at 152, Northgate, Almondbury, Huddersfield. Application No. 2024/91729.

The following planning applications have been received which are either within a Conservation Area or affect its setting

4. Erection of vertically boarded fence and timber decking at Orchard House, 84, New Road, Netherthong, Holmfirth. Application No. 2024/91776.

5. Erection of two storey rear extension and associated alterations at 68, Swallow Lane, Golcar, Huddersfield. Application No. 2024/91418.

6. Erection of lean-to single storey front extension at The Message, 2-4, Crescent Road, Birkby, Huddersfield. Application No. 2024/91820.

7. Installation of access platform lift at 5, Ramsden Street, Golcar, Huddersfield. Application No. 2024/91672.

8. External works at Meltham Parish Church Hall, Greens End Road, Meltham, Holmfirth. Application No. 2024/91761.

The following planning application has been received which is for Discharge of Conditions of a Listed Building Consent

9. Discharge conditions 3 and 4 (materials) on previous permission 2023/92236 for Listed Building Consent for works on Huddersfield Viaduct including re-construction of span 1 (John William Street bridge); strengthening works to abutment of span 4 (Fitzwilliam Street); in-filling of the partial span 5; re-construction of part of span 29 (Bradford Road); provision of parapet handrails, spandrel wall strengthening and installation of overhead electric line equipment and signal gantry (partly within a Conservation Area) at railway viaduct between, John William Street and Alder Street, Huddersfield. Application No. 2024/92040.

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT PROCEDURE) (ENGLAND) ORDER 2015 NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 15

11. Erection of detached garage and formation of vehicular access at 24, Parkwood Road, Golcar, Huddersfield (Footpath No. COL/49/10). Application No. 2024/91957.

The following planning application has been received which constitutes Major Development and is a departure from the Development Plan

12. Erection of special educational needs and disabilities school (Use Class F1), comprising educational buildings, roof mounted photo-voltaic panels, sensory garden spaces, multi-use games areas, landscaping, hardstanding areas, carparking, access with secure fencing and associated ancillary development at former, Almondbury High School, Fernside Avenue, Huddersfield. Application No. 2024/91998.
