Variation of condition 2 (approved Plans) imposed upon planning permission 23/01249/LBC for Listed Building Consent for a single storey extension to the John Crook Theatre and Dining Hall, together with the demolition of the later single storey extension to the original Listed Building on site, to allow for the additional of a porch canopy to the front entrance doors to provide shelter to people using this entrance. Reconfiguration of external doors to aid the flow of pupils using the dining hall.

Omission of the red panels to the glazing to simplify the exterior design and better reflect the setting. A reduction in the amount of glazing to the street elevation to provide a greater degree of privacy in the theatre lobby. An increase in the length of the colonnade to the courtyard elevation to provide addition protection from the weather for pupils queuing for the dining hall. The addition of wind catcher vents to the dining hall avoiding the need for mechanical ventilation and reducing energy use. Relocation of the PV panels to the theatre roof so they are not visible from the theatre and listed building and exposing them to sun throughout the day.
