What is planned?

NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14

RUSHCLIFFE BOROUGH COUNCIL EAST BRIDGFORD FOOTPATH NO. 24 PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2024

The above Order was made on the 6th August 2024. The effect of the Order will be to divert the section of East Bridgford Footpath No.24. The section of East Bridgford Footpath No. 24 commencing from a point, SK 6984 4282, and proceeding for a distance of approximately 97 metres in a generally north-westerly direction to a point, SK 6979 4291, at the remainder of Footpath No. 24, as shown by a bold black solid line on the order map. Commencing from a point, SK 6984 4282 and proceeding for a distance of approximately 140 metres in a generally north-northeasterly then west-north-westerly direction, then in a northnorth-easterly direction across the new carriageway, then in a west-north-westerly and finally a north-north-easterly direction to a point, SK 6979 4291, at the junction with the remainder of East Bridgford Footpath No.24, with a width of 2 metres throughout on a hard bound surface, as shown by a bold dashed line on the order map.

A copy of the order and the order map may be seen free of charge at Rushcliffe Borough Council, Rushcliffe Arena, Rugby Road, West Bridgford Nottingham, NG2 7YG during normal office hours. A copy of the order and the order map are published at https://www.rushcliffe.gov.uk/. Copies of the order may be obtained at a reasonable charge.

Any representation about or objection to the order may be sent or delivered in writing to the Borough Solicitor at the address below not later than 6th September 2024. Please state the grounds on which it is made.

If no representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Rushcliffe Borough Council may itself confirm the order (without modifications) as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
