The following applications have been received by the Council and are required to be advertised under the above Acts:

The Council has received the following planning application which affects a PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY

A/24/97394/MAJOR Land to West Of Westleigh Brook And Parsonage Way Leigh. Erection of a new residential development comprising two, three and four bed houses together with all associated works including solar panels, access, extension of Linear Park, landscaping, public open space and car parking following demolition of existing bridge structure.

The Council has received the following planning application which is located within a Conservation Area Hindley Town Centre.

A/24/97451/CU 3 Market Street Hindley Wigan WN2 3AE. Conversion of former bank premises (Use Class E) to retail unit (Use Class E) at ground floor including new shopfront and external alterations, together with the creation of two 2 bed flats (Use Class C3) on first and second floors.

A planning application has been made to Wigan council for the above proposal, which the Council considers would affect the setting of a Listed Building and which is within a Conservation Area.
