What is planned?

Somerset Council - Planning North learn Town & Country Planning Act 1990 Town & Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) Order 201S Planning (Listed Buildings & Conservation Areas) Act 1990

Notice is hereby given that the following applications have been received:

Application No. 24/24/00001: Mill Batch Farm, Bristol Road, East Brent, Highbridge, TA9 4JN. Erection of INo. industrial unit comprising 10 No. individual units at 113.3 sqm, totalling 1170sqm of internal space, & associated car park with 100 No. bays. This proposal is a major development & may affect the setting of a public right of way.

Application No. 34/24/00004: Windmill Retreat, Main Road, Middlezoy, Bridgwater. Erection of a building for use as storage & tourist accommodation. This development may affect the setting of a public right of way.

Application No. 37/24/00055: 4 Portman Road, North Petherton, Bridgwater, TA6 6SP. Erection of two storey side (SW) extension part on site of existing garage (to be demolished), & erection of single storey front (SE) & rear (NW) extensions on site of existing porch & conservatory (to be demolished). This development may affect the setting of a public right of way (Householder application).

For applications identified as householder, if an appeal against a refusal of planning permission is submitted, there will be no further opportunity to comment at the appeal stage. Comments welcome by 20/08/2024. Applications can be viewed online https://sdc.somerset.gov.uk/planning_online, or at Council Offices & libraries. Any comments must be submitted in writing either online, by email PlanningCommentsNorfh@Somerset.gov.uk or posted to Planning - North Team, Somerset Council, Bridgwater House, King Square, Bridgwater, TA6 3AR (quote the application no).
