Sutton Local Plan - Issues and Preferred Options Document Representation Period: 25 July 2024 - 12 September 2024

Notice is hereby given that the London Borough of Sutton has published an Issues and Preferred Options document. Representations are being invited from 25 July 2024 to 12 September 2024.

The Sutton Local Plan Issues and Preferred Options document provides options for the local community and other stakeholders to consider regarding future development in Sutton and deals with strategic initiatives, such as the regeneration of Sutton Town Centre and the London Cancer Hub. It sets out emerging policies for the land use issues facing the borough and identifies potential site allocations, all of which can be commented on. Finally, the document invites suggestions for any other issues which should be included, and proposals for other potential site allocations. The appendix to the document includes proposed changes to area designations for the Policies Map and is part of the consultation as is the Sustainability Appraisal (Incorporating Equalities Impact Assessment and Habitats Regulations Assessment).
