In the opinion of the Council, as Local Planning Authority, this development would involve a departure from the Local Development Plan.

Reason: The development site is located within the Metropolitan Green Belt and would result in new development outside of that permitted within Paragraph 149 of the NPPF (2023), Policy G2 of the London Plan (2021), Policy

CP33 of the Enfield Core Strategy (2010) and Policy DMD82 of the Enfield

Development Management Document (2014). The policies mentioned restrict new development within the Green Belt that impacts its openness.

The revised information has been received and is currently under consultation.

The public and relevant stakeholders are invited to review and provide new comments should they have additional feedback to share.

If any party has previously submitted comments during the initial consultation and wishes for them to be considered without modification, no further action is required. The initial comments will still be taken into account.

* If this application becomes the subject of an appeal there may be no opportunity to make further comment. Comments received will be sent to the Planning Inspectorate.
