Decommissioning Programmes for Calder, Dalton and Millom Fields -
installations and pipelines
Chrysaor Resources (Irish Sea) Limited has submitted, for the consideration
of the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero, draft
decommissioning programmes for the Calder, Dalton and Millom fields
installations and pipelines in accordance with the provisions of the Petroleum
Act 1998 (The Act). It is a requirement of the Act that interested parties be
consulted on such proposals.
The facilities covered by the Calder, Dalton and Millom fields draft
Decommissioning Programmes are located within UK blocks 110/7a
(Calder), 110/2b (Dalton), 110/2c, 113/26a and 113/27a (Millom) in the East
Irish Sea (EIS). The fields lie approximately 40km W (Calder), 40km SW
(Dalton) and 40km SSW (Millom) of the UK coast. The Calder, Dalton and
Millom field Decommissioning Programmes covers 9 installations and
associated subsea infrastructure including:
9 installations
• Calder installation (platform).
• Dalton installations (R1 & R2 Wellhead Protection Structures (WHPS)
and Pipeline End Manifold (PLEM)).
• Millom installations (Millom West platform, Millom Q1, Q2 & Q3
WHPS and Millom East PLEM).
31 pipelines
• Calder associated pipelines, including PL1965, PL1966 and the
electrical cable, PL6340.
• Dalton associated pipelines, including PL1668, PL1669, PL1670,
PL1671.1 – PL1675.5, PL1672.1, PL1672.2, PL1673.1 and PL1673.2.
• Millom associated pipelines, including PL1674, PL1675, PL1676,
PL1677, PL1678.1 – PL1678.5, PL1679.1, PL1679.2, PL1873,
PLU1874, PL1980, PLU1678JQ3 and including electrical cable
PL6352.
Chrysaor Resources (Irish Sea) limited hereby gives notice that the Calder,
Dalton and Millom fields draft Decommissioning Programmes is readily

Representations regarding the draft Calder, Dalton and Millom fields
