What is planned?

(ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT) (ENGLAND
AND WALES) REGULATIONS 2017 (AS AMENDED)

Medway Council as Local Planning Authority has received the following applications which are being advertised to ascertain the views of persons living near the sites and other interested parties. The proposed developments relate to one or more of the following:

1. The site of the application is within/affecting the setting of a designated
Conservation Area (Section 73) of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990;
2. The application relates to, or affects the setting of a Listed Building (Section 67) of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990;
3. The application is for a Major Development.

MC/24/1210 Weymouth House, 75 College Avenue, Gillingham, Medway
Reason 1 - Change of use from six-person House of Multiple Occupancy (HMO) to eight- person HMO (sui generis), alter existing pitched glazed conservatory roof to a solid flat roof and cycle and bin store in rear garden

MC/24/1317 Grassed area between Pembroke and Blake Buildings adjacent to Central  Avenue, Medway Campus, Gillingham, Chatham Maritime
Reason 1 - Installation of permanent works of art consisting of three glass fibre spherical globes mounted on pedestals.

MC/24/0306 Bradfields School, Churchill Avenue, Wayfield, Chatham
Reason 3 - Retrospective application for the siting of two storey temporary classroom buildings and ancillary accommodation, perimeter fencing, landscaping, a canopy structure, and fire hydrant tank.

MC/24/1323 The Hogarth Inn, 41 - 43 High Street, Isle of Grain, Rochester
Reason 2 - Listed building consent for change of use and conversion of existing
outbuilding to four accommodation units for temporary workers

MC/24/1300 14 Pleasant Row (path), Rochester, Medway, ME1 1YA
Reason 1 - Replacement of timber sliding sash windows with uPVC sliding sash windows in woodgrain finish to front and rear of 14 Pleasant Row

MC/24/1289 Land west of Edinburgh Road, Isle Of Grain, Rochester, Medway
Reason 3 Construction of 34 dwellings together with access, parking, landscaping, open space and associated infrastructure and earthworks
