The following applications for planning permission affect the character or appearance of the following conservation areas:

Aldersbrook & Lake House

1691/24 Applicant: Russell Location: 47 Belgrave Road, E11 3QP

Proposal: Alterations to existing boundary treatment. Removal of existing vehicular access on Windsor Road. Formation of means of access onto Belgrave Road. Alterations to front garden including new driveway, tiled path and landscaping. Replacement porch.

The Bungalow Estate (Formerly Mayfield)

1714/24 Applicant: Arshad Location: 40 Breamore Road, IG3 9NB

Proposal: Conversion of garage into a habitable room.

Wanstead Grove

1739/24 Applicant: Bal Location: 41 Rutland Road, E11 2DY

Proposal: Two storey rear infill extension. Part conversion of garage into habitable room. Loft conversion with rear and side dormers. One front rooflight. Alterations to roof over existing side extension. Removal of chimney. Alterations to fenestrations.

Wanstead Grove & Listed Building

1554/24 Applicant: Musa Location: 20 The Avenue, E11 2EF

Proposal: Reconstruction/landscaping works surrounding the gazebo and grotto in rear garden. Listed Building Consent granted under application ref 0362/24.

Wanstead Village

1777/24 Applicant: Malhotra Location: 37 Spratt Hall Road, E11 2RQ

Proposal: Loft conversion with rear dormer. Two front rooflights.

Woodford Broadway

1598/24 Applicant: Doye Location: 35 Monkhams Drive, IG8 0LG

Proposal: Alterations to existing loft conversion to include enlargement of rear dormer window to incorporate full height opening windows. New Juliette balcony and rear rooflight to be increased in size.

1628/24 Applicant: HUYNH Location: 111 Monkhams Avenue, IG8 0ER

Proposal: Installation of 2x air source heat pumps to side elevation.

1645/24 Applicant: Mahir Location: 44 Monkhams Avenue, IG8 0EY

Proposal: Two storey side rear extension with rear terrace and steps to garden. Double storey front bay window. Loft conversion with a rear dormer. Two roof lights, internal alterations. Alterations to fenestrations.

1759/24 Applicant: Woodford Wells Club Location: Woodford Wells Cricket And Lawn Tennis Club, Monkhams Lane, IG8 0NL

Proposal: Erection of 3 - 4m high mesh and glass fencing to 3no. padel tennis courts with replacement artificial playing surface and installation of low-level 6m high LED floodlights.

1701/24 Applicant: Bellway Homes Ltd (Thames Gateway) Location: Development At Hainault House And Land On The South Side Of Billet Road, Chadwell Heath, Romford Proposal: Variation of Condition 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 of approved planning permission 3376/22: amendments to the wording of the listed conditions (refer to cover letter online dated 12th June 2024 for further details).
