Notice of proposed development/works at (a) 10A Manchester Road, Nelson. 24/0435/FUL Full: Erection of replacement windows. The proposal is within the Whitefield Conservation Area.

(b) The Substation, Northlight Parade, Brierfield. 24/0374/LBC Listed Building Consent: Internal fit out as a coffee shop, erection of internally illuminated external signage and 3 no. external wall-mounted condensers. The proposal affects a Listed Building. The proposal is within the Brierfield Mills Conservation Area.

(c) The Substation, Northlight Parade, Brierfield. 24/0418/ADV Advertisement Consent: Illuminated fascia lettering to south elevation, illuminated roundel to south and west elevation, illuminated lettering on rails to east elevation and above entrance door, illuminated projecting sign on east elevation and non-illuminated lettering to planter boxes. The proposal is within the Brierfield Mills Conservation Area. The proposal affects the setting of a Listed Building. The Council has received these applications and is required to advertise them under the above legislation. Copies of the applications can be inspected during normal office hours at Number One Market Street, Nelson until 26 July 2024. The case officers dealing with these applications are: (a,b,c) Joanne Naylor who can be contacted on (01282) 661711. Any representations about these applications should be made either in writing to the Planning Services Manager, Town Hall, Market Street, Nelson, BB9 7LG, so as to arrive not later than 26 July 2024; or, a copy of the application can be inspected on the Council’s website (www.pendle.gov.uk under Environment/Planning/View Planning Applications) and comments made online. All comments received will be available for public inspection and will be viewable on the internet along with the application details. However, we will endeavour to prevent signatures, telephone numbers and email addresses from appearing on the comments published on the internet. Decisions are normally made within six to eight weeks (11 to 13 weeks for major planning applications). Details of the decision will not automatically be sent to those that have made comments.
