The following applications have been received by the Council and are required to be advertised under the above Acts:
The Council has received the following planning application which is located within a Conservation Area: Market Place.
A/24/97220/FULL Pendle Witch, 2 - 4 Warburton Place, Atherton, Manchester.
Single storey orangery extension to front to replace existing conservatory, together with a new timber frame bin store to side.
A planning application has been made to Wigan Council for the above proposal, which the Council considers would affect the character or appearance of the Conservation Area.
A/24/97357/MAJOR Unit D3A Walter Leigh Way, Moss Industrial Estate, Leigh.
Construction of a portal frame building (Use Class B2, B8 and E) with ancillary office accommodation and associated external parking facility on the existing hardstanding previously used with unit D3.
A/24/97378/MAJOR Atherton St Georges Church of England Primary School, Derby Street, Atherton, Manchester.
Erection of a 2.4m high weldmesh fence and gates to school playing field.
